In case you are wondering who owns Best Buddies, allow me to introduce myself! My name is Candy McCullough and I live in Jacksonville, FL with my husband, 3 dogs and 2 cats. We have three German Shepherds, Amber, an 11 year old female who has her Open title and is now retired, Brody, a rescue dog who is very shy from the abuse he suffered, but also very sweet and Colonel, who is working in rally. Our two cats, Louie and Jasmine were rescued from the wild as kittens. They are now as spoiled and pampered as the dogs. 

I have been involved in the dog world for over 45 years now, most often in the obedience ring, but I have spent some time in the breed ring too. My husband and I are very active in our local German Shepherd Dog Club. We enjoy helping with the shows and matches our club puts on, but more important, we welcome the opportunity to teach the public about the wonders of dogs.

I am also a dog show vendor, so if you attend shows in Florida or Georgia, be sure to look for us! We always have a huge selection of gift items at the shows.
